Volunteers needed for PA Youth Hunter Education Challenge
On Friday, June 20, 2008 the UBP/YHEC Committee will be preparing the archery competition course at the PGC’s Scotia Range, just outside of State College. Work will begin at 10:00 am, and we should be finished before 5:00 pm. Pruners and small hand-saws should be all that is required for tools. Please call Jeff Uschak 724-694-2591 if you can help. Bring your own lunch and refreshments.
On Saturday, June 21, 2008, the UBP will be setting up and scoring the archery competition segment of the Youth Hunter Education Challenge at the same location. To see what this event is all about go to:
Guaranteed volunteers are needed for this event. You do not have to commit to the entire day, but morning volunteers must be there by 8:00 am in time to help with setup, and afternoon volunteers must remain long enough to tear down.
